Here at Newbury Hall, we want all of our students to be confident. Confident in their ability, confident in their potential and confident of their place in the world.
We all have different perspectives and a wide range of abilities and personalities. Some people are quieter than others, for example.
Both introverts and extroverts need to be able to give their opinions though and stand up and speak when necessary. For some people that can be a stressful experience, but it can be made better with a few simple tips. Here are three for anyone who needs to give a presentation or speech –
- Plan what you are going to say
- Practice what you are going to say
- Be yourself
Can you suggest any others?
